Governors

Governor Vacancies

Parent Governors:

We currently have two vacancies for Parent Governors on our Governing Body. Governors play an important role in schools. They work in partnership with the headteacher and staff to ensure the school is achieving the best it can.

Governors do not need any formal qualifications or particular experience. However, they must be prepared to undergo CRB clearance before appointment, as we are committed to safeguarding children. Governors are involved in a range of tasks including recruitment and selection of staff, overseeing the budget, the development of new buildings and resources, and much more.

The Local Authority has a dedicated Governors Services team to lend support and provide training to governors. Full induction training is available to new governors to help them to understand their role

If you are interested in becoming a governor for our school, please call into the office for an application/nomination form.
