Our class teacher is Mrs Lee and our teaching assistant is Mrs Morris.
Homework will be given on Monday and is to be handed in by Friday each week.
Spellings and grammar
Children will be given a list of words to learn during the week. They can practise spelling these words in the table in their homework book. They will also be given a grammar task to complete at home.
Children will be given a number task to practise each week based on something they have been learning in class. As well as this children will be given times tables to practise at home.
Please practise reading your reading book as often as you can during the week, and if you read other books don't forget to mention them in the reading record. Please ensure your child brings a reading folder to school every day.
Children who complete all of their homework and hand it on time will be rewarded at the end of each term with a gold award afternoon. This can be a picnic, disco or a carousel of activities. It is important that homework is completed to a good standard and handed in on time to receive the sticker for that week.
These are for completing 98% of homework which is completed to a good standard and handed in on time. This is a day where children who win a silver award have the chance to come to school in non-uniform.
Please help your child with their homework as it sets a good example to them. To support your child with homework, we offer a homework club on Monday and Tuesday lunchtimes where two teaching assistants are available to help. Any difficulties and our staff are available to help – just ask!
PE days are on Monday and Wednesday afternoon each week. Please make sure your child has their PE kit in school on these days.
PE kit is available to buy from the school office.
