Monday

Happy Monday to our wonderful Reception class!

It was nice to enjoy the bank holiday weekend and see the sun shining again!  You were fantastic last week making your wonderful minibeast books and we hope you have managed to find some minibeasts in your gardens or out on your daily walks.  We have got lots more fun activities for you to try at home again this week.  Sending you all big hugs!

Keep smiling,

The Reception Team

Literacy

This week we are going to focus on writing sentences.  Some children will be able to write their own sentences using their letter sounds to spell words all by themselves.  Other children may need an adult to write the sentence first for them to copy.  It is important that the children practise saying the sentence first.

This week’s maths is based on ‘The Very Busy Spider’ written by Eric Carle.
