Monday

Hello Reception,

We hope you have had another lovely weekend.  Thank you for all your hard work last week, it was great to see photographs of some of your writing.  Well done on using your capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.  This week we are going to spend some time thinking about all the important people in our community.  Everybody has been working so hard to stay safe.  We want to say Thank You to all of our amazing children who have shown strength and resilience and parents and carers who have had to adapt to becoming teachers.  Some of you will be putting us out of a job!  You are all incredible - Don't forget it!

Big hugs,

The Reception Team

Make a Poster

Get a large piece of paper or the back of some wrapping paper.  Write ' Special People' at the top.  Think of all the people that are special to you.  You can draw them and then label underneath using all of your fantastic phonic knowledge.  Some ideas for people you might like to draw are;

Mam/ Dad

Grandma/ Grandad

Friend

Nurse/ Doctor

Shopkeeper

Teacher

Firefighter

Postman

And many, many more!

Make your poster bright and colourful.  Explore using colouring pencils, felt tip pens, paints, glitter and chalks.
