Year 4

Welcome back Year 4 to the second part of our Summer Term!

I hope you and your families are all well and that you've had an enjoyable half term. Wasn't the weather gorgeous! (I hope you remembered sun hats, sun cream and lots to drink.)

I'm missing you all so much and think about you all everyday. So, please send in lots of photographs to our Year 3 and 4 email account:                                            year34@stjosephsrc-primary.co.uk

I really enjoy seeing your smiling faces and what you've been up to. If you ask a trusted adult to help log on to our school Twitter account, you can keep up to date with some of your school friends that have already done this.

I also know that a lot of year 4 children have been completing home learning that I've been setting. Please keep on posting this too as I can see how you're all progressing and where help may be needed.

If you're unable to work from a screen or print out to paper you can always telephone us and arrange to come and pick up a pack from school.

For now, keep up with daily maths, English and science or topic activity. Don't forget to keep physical in some way and also fun things to keep your mind healthy too.

Until I see you again, keep safe and be kind and I'll keep you all in my prayers,

A message from Mrs Lee.

During the Summer half term holiday I won't be posting everyday like during term time so below I have attached some activities that you can do at your leisure along with some creative projects you might want to try. Enjoy!

P.S. Missing you loads!

Welcome back Year 4.

I hope you all had a great Easter holiday (all be it indoors frown)

I've posted some new lessons for you to complete each day, if you can.

I would suggest you complete 1 Maths, 1 English and either a science or topic activity.

I have arranged them in weekly then daily order so it's easy for you to follow. I've also included our weekly spellings and you can keep up with times tables at urbrainy.com/mtc .

Don't forget to look in our general class pages area where there are lots of other ideas for you to do.

It is very important that you keep on reading! It can be your own books or magazines or online text. You can even listen to a podcast for a bit of variety!

Remember to keep sending in any photographs of work or other activities that you've been up to. It's great to keep in touch and inspire each other with ideas.

Lastly, keep up with the exercise (mental and physical.) We all need to stay fit and healthy. I'm loving Joe Wicks at the moment (even though it's really hard!!!)

If you find it difficult to access the online lessons you can always pop along to school to pick up a pre-printed work pack. This should be ready by the end of this week for you. It would be a good idea to ring school first to let staff know you're coming.

Can't wait to see you all soon as I'm missing you all so much. So for now, God Bless every body and stay safe!
