Mission and Values
We live, learn and grow in the light of Christ
Our school values are the foundation of everything we do. They guide the way we live, learn, and grow each day, helping every child to flourish academically, spiritually, and personally. Rooted in our mission statement, “We live, learn and grow in the light of Christ”, our values help children understand what it truly means to follow Jesus and to develop the confidence and character they need to reach their full, God‑given potential.
Our values are shaped by the life and example of Saints, whose qualities reflect the Gospel message and continue to inspire our school community. Through learning about our patron saint’s virtues, children discover how to live out their faith with courage, kindness, compassion, and service.

Our values support every child on their journey to becoming the person God created them to be. They help children to:
- Build strong relationships and treat others with respect
- Develop resilience and a positive attitude to learning
- Grow in confidence, independence, and self‑belief
- Make thoughtful choices guided by faith and compassion
- Become responsible and caring members of society
Through these values, we set high expectations for all pupils and create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
In classrooms, on the playground, in worship, and at home, our values help children to live, learn and grow in the light of Christ. They are woven into our curriculum, our behaviour expectations, our celebrations, and the way we care for one another.
Together, our mission and our values shape a loving Catholic community where every child is supported, encouraged, and inspired to shine.
