Reading

Learning to read is one of the most important skills you will need.

Please read every day, even if it is for 5 minutes and remember to record your reading using Boom reader.

Spellings will be given out at the start of each half term.

There will be a list of spellings to learn each week and a spelling test in school each Friday.

In Year 3 and 4 it is very important to learn times tables in order to gain confidence and fluency, so each week we will focus on learning table facts and have regular tests each week. 

There are many games online that help children to practise these facts.
